Just Between Friends is a bi-annual children’s consignment pop up shop with over 146 events nationwide happening each spring and fall, and Pflugerville is home to one of the big ones!
Every 6 months, 150+ families in and around Pflugerville sell their kids’ outgrown (not outworn) items, giving them extra cash to buy the next 6 months worth of goods! Kid’s grow so fast, that’s just plain smart!
This means thousands of toys, clothes, shoes, and even furniture are up for grabs at 50%-90% off retail. This is no garage sale because each item that comes into JBF is inspected for quality. They even have a certified recall specialist so you know all the items were checked and won’t fall on any recall list.
The best part is their partnership with local charity, The Settlement Home for Children. Consignors can choose whether to donate anything that doesn’t sell, and at the end of the event, The Settlement Home is handed thousands of dollars worth of quality goods to use in their foster and adoption program for those in need.
The events are coordinated by a mother daughter duo from Hutto and South Austin. They feel so honored to be able to host the local sales and help families make and save money. The events are all run by volunteers, and it’s a great way to meet other awesome parents in the community and support a sustainable lifestyle. Every event is like a family reunion they say, and anyone is welcome to join the fam!
